PART 2/7: Road of Carnage

Timeline: Post Graduation - the beginning of the first war.
Summary: With graduation come new responsibilities. Outside the safe walls of Hogwarts, Buffy and co. find themselves involved in a war against Voldemort. No one is safe, not everyone is loyal and there will be losses on both sides. Can love and friendship prevail against the darkness or will it crumble beneath the growing shadows?
Pairings: Remus/Buffy, James/Lily, Sirius/OC, Peter/OC, Frank/Alice.

Peter decides to close the store, but leaves it to Remus instead, and on his first day at the store, he gets a very unwelcome visit. Episode 16 - Motives
Lily alerts Buffy to what might be side effects to hers and Remus’ soulmate bond, while a meeting in Hogsmeade reveals more possible hindrances in Mandy’s and Sirius’ relationship. As the Quidditch match is interrupted by a Death Eater attack , Lily has her first taste of darkness while attempting to protect James. Snape is alerted to the fact that Buffy might be more than what she seems to be, and the Lowells decide to leave Britain. (c. 6700 words) || Episode Art

Episode 21 - Beautiful

Episode 22 - Tricked
The Minister and the Order are alerted to the fact that there will be an attack on Azkaban prison, and prepares accordingly. Unfortunately, when the attack does occur, it slowly becomes apparent that there’s something not quite right about it... (c. 8300 words) || Episode Art

Episode 24 - Decision
Petunia cuts of all contact with Lily, and when Eliza’s father threatens to do the same, she must decide whether to stay in England or return to France. Lily tries to reconnect with her sister, to no avail, while Buffy’s days of anonymity comes to an end after Voldemort spots her in action during an attack on St. Mungo’s.
